So I have a 63 Cherokee 160 B model. The new update in Foreflight is asking me to set up a custom performance profile for my airplane. A couple of the fields it asked for I do not have the answers to. Maybe some here can help. It asks for fuel burn during climb out and fuel burn during descent? I do not have an engine monitoring system for fuel flow. Anyone know these numbers or can tell me how to calculate them? I would think there are a lot of factors that figure in and these are not hard numbers. It is used for flight planning. I used to plan at 10gph for cross country, which left me plenty of cushion for reserve. When it asks for cruise fuel burn, should I be putting in my actual average of 7gph or should I be putting in my previous of 10gph? Thanks
