I'm think about getting a Cherokee to fly from N81 to SHD. The air miles calculator shows 210 air miles. I'm thinking two hours flight time (ball park) with a Cherokee 160. I don't have my PPL yet. I do have 10.5 hrs but that was 8/9 years ago. So I will be almost starting from scratch. So does this guesstament sound about right on the flight time?

This planes mission will be for my wife and me to visit our adult son (44) who lives at a head injury facility in that part of VA. (SHD). It now takes us 5+ hrs to drive there. With the plane we could make it a one day round trip (weather permitting ). The airport (SHD) is less than 5 miles from the facility. We are both retired and our house will be payed off January of 2013.
