So I had my filter analysis done and he says it's a piston pin plug. It's a lycoming 0-320-E3D. Guys says he sees it all the time and that the plane is ok to fly for 25 hours then check. He also said to have it borescoped to determine which or how many are creating the aluminum in the filter. He is going to send me a fly for 25 sign off.. He also says that the cap will not do damage to the cylinder because it's softer.. does this all pass the sanity check with you guys?
