Anyone willing to share their ramp check experience if any? Or ones you heard off from a buddy?

Surprisingly we have an ongoing series of ramp checks at my local airport for almost a month. It's not one and done but they been roaming around at random for the past month, INCLUDING weekends. I understand that we have some heavy training activity at the field but why target just one airport? And seems the neighboring airports have been untouched so far.... very weird. So what are they actually looking for to be hitting us few weekends in a row?

Last month, the municipal airport few miles NW of us had multiple planes broken in and avionics stolen.... no one is working on that.
