This is kind of an afterthought...

I use a 12v 4 wheeler winch to pull my PA32 back in the hanger. Works great. I noticed recently the cheap lawnmower battery that i bought was getting pretty weak. Rather than buy another battery I looked to see if I could just buy a AC to DC inverter that would supply enough amps to operate the winch. I found a 110v 50amp inverter on Amazon that should do the trick. Lots of 5 star reviews mainly from people that apparently show cars or work on stereos and hey use it to power the cars / stereos while they sit all day at car shows. I haven't yet used it on the winch but the specs suggest it should work fine.

Anyways, it got me to thinking... any way I could use this to provide external power for the plane if I wanted to sit in it and play with the 530w? If so how does it need to be hooked up?
