Good afternoon. I am looking for advice. I am a mechanic and pilot, this question is not really so much what an engine monitor can do as I have read all the specs and understand under certain engine configurations they are a must and great tool etc. my plane is a 1968 PA28 140 320 150 hp. Pretty simple this planes been flying for 50 years on analog just fine. I have a few dollars to invest or waste lol. Was considering a JPI 830. Was wondering if anyone has installed a 730 or 830 in the pa28 140 320 and if so did you think it was worth it, is it better than just leaning to stumble and push back a little, my gut is save my money and maybe put it somewhere else maybe in a headset, or new iPad mini for ForeFlight or maybe new Goodyears. Look forward to your comments. I did just buy new floor mats and of course they are back ordered. I try to do a few upgrades every year so my plane does not feel neglected……plus it keeps me out of some chores at home.
