Engine Monitor and Panel Placement

Hi all -

Planning to install an engine monitor, probably JPI 830. The two obvious spots are either lower left, or above the autopilot.

A third option is to go with a 930, MVP, or other primary, and replace the analog instruments, which would make it easier to include in my scan, I think.

Any thoughts or wisdom from the board?
