I've had my -235 for 3 years and just received it back from annual from a different mechanic than I had been using before. When doing the pre-flight, I noticed that it took very little effort to raise and lower the elevator. Before this annual, I'd have to grab the elevator to raise and lower it. Now I can do it with one finger.

I stayed in the pattern because I was a bit nervous about it and I was surprised that my landing went from just OK to better than OK. I had much more control in the flare than before. How much pressure should it take to raise and lower the elevator?
