Is checking egt at low altitude a thing? Wondering what is high, my son went flying last night and noted the egt at 1400 doing maneuvers at 1500ft. Cyl hd temp was normal around 330 and oil and press normal also. I noticed the manual does not mention an EGT temp limit anywhere except for leaning as a peak then reduce 140 degrees from peak on the rich side. Any thoughts?
