The EGT on my new to me 1974 PA-28-140 is INOP.

The gauge and probe appear to be original equipment. There is no disconnect anywhere on the probe lead and it runs through the firewall back to the gauge in the cockpit.

I've tried to find part numbers for this with no success. My budget will not allow an engine monitor at this time and I would like to get it working. I'm betting the probe is the most likely culprit.

Does anyone know the part number for this?

Sorry for the sideways picture but no matter how I edit this photo it posts this way.

Thanks in advance.
