Hi - New Plane owner here. You guys and this forum have been super helpful to me getting started in plane ownership! My 77 Archer has an EGT gauge that has 25 degree graduations, but no numbers. There is a hairline needle that you can move. The guy that I bought the plane from told me to keep the hairline needle in the middle and adjust the mixture to that line. I'm not positive that is the correct info - curious if anyone can add experience with this type of gauge. It looks like original equipment.
