Effectiveness of tail cone covers

So, it doesn’t rain much here in central Arizona...

But when it does, I get water in the belly.

How effective are the tail cone covers at limiting that? I’ve already got a canopy cover (Bruce’s) installed, and the root seals are in decent shape. I’d have to think the canopy cover limits much of the poorly sealed window leakage during rain.
