Dumb Question: Rod vs Lever Throttles

So, really dumb question. I like the performance in the slightly older 180's and 235's or similar. But part of the piper charm I love is the lever style throttles rather than twisting/pulling a rod.

Is it possible to convert the rod-style over to the lever style?

I know, it's not a functional change and probably not worth spending the money on. But let's assume I'm a crazy person. Is this possible?
