I fly VFR using Foreflight/stratus to navigate. I am just starting my IFR training and am looking to ensure I can train in my own aircraft.

I just dropped the plane off at the avionics shop to install a new stratus ADSB-in/out and a new audio panel. I've settled on the PMA6000 due to its "low price" the fact I can wire in music and the ability to support a marker beacon.

My questions:
1) Do I need a DME to fly IFR?
2) Do I need a Marker Beacon for IFR?
3) Can FF be used as an IFR GPS? (I'm assuming the 'pro' version of FF)

Thanks everyone
Robert
