I have reviewed multiple threads here dealing with dancing ammeters. My situation is quite specific and a bit different. I have a 1966 140. My load meter dances (wildly) only when the electric fuel pump is on and only when the engine is running. I can turn on all electrics (lights, strobe, transponder, radios, etc.). Load meter is steady until I turn on the fuel pump. I should also say that the fuel pump appears to be running fine. We just completed the annual inspection and my IA is stumped. All connections seem good. Any ideas?
