Let me start by thanking everyone for posting here as I have benefited much from reading here in the past.

I have a 1973 Pa-28-140 Ser #28-7325XXX that I purchased in 2015.
The plane had a left fuel tank replace in 2003. This year during the annual inspection we found cracked aleron bell crank brackets. We removed the fuel tanks to find two sets of holes in the bottom spar cap on the left side.

This cant be the first time this happened. Is there an existing repair plan or some such that can be referenced for a path forward to a repair plan.

Second question. Where can I purchase a service manual for my aircraft? Also is there a separete Repair Manual or is it the same thing?

I have priced a replacement wing from $14,000 exchange for rebuilt wing to $4500 for a used wing. If possible I would prefer to repair verse replace and repaint ect.
