It is time to change my propeller. I sent the old one (2 bladed original) out for overhaul and it was brought to my attention that it was not serviceable (corrosion of the hub and bearing seats out of tolerance...from what I was told). I have been searching around in forums and cannot find the answers I am looking for. I have looked at A lot of the pros and cons of two blades versus three blades (prop clearance, noise reduction, climb proformance...). I have narrowed it down to a 2 or 3 blade scimitar or standard 2 blade, and still a couple questions linger;

1. Do they make a 2 bladed scimitar prop for a Dakota.
2. What cruise degradation if any is seen with a three bladed scimitar prop vs original 2 blade?
3. Where is a good place to order from, from a price stand point.
4. With those that own a Dakota and have a three bladed scimitar prop, what are your experiences with performance?
5. Are 2 or 3 blade spinners universal between brands and type of props?

Thanks to all that input! I'm sure I will post more questions as they come up.
