I just ordered a JPI-900, and my mechanic would like to run new wires to the fuel senders instead of splicing the existing old wires (I hope I said all of this correctly). Based on work he’s done on multiple Cherokees, he thinks that he’d have to pull the fuel tanks to do this, but we are both wondering if the additional access panels on the Dakota relative to most other Cherokees would allow him to run a new wire without pulling the tanks.

Thanks in advance!

Edit: PS we are not installing new digital senders. We are using the existing senders.
