After months of indecision, I finally decided on a shop (Avionics 1st, Dallas) and panel upgrades. This is due, in no small part, to what you guys post.
Scope:
A few thoughts:
I really wanted the NGT-9000 transponder, but the price has gone back up-- so the second Aspen screen was prioritized higher.
The new panel will extend past the yokes. The sub-panel I'll do later.
My kids will not get college paid for... but my airplane it really pleased.

EXISTING PANEL and the first few pics from the shop:

- Install Aspen Pro and MFD
- Install PMA-450a Audio Panel
- Install GTX-345 Transponder
- Fabricate new panel
