So I have a 1984 Piper Dakota with air conditioning. I charged it a couple years back and thought nothing of it when the mechanic told me it was an R134A System. Now going through the logs, I do not see that it was ever changed over from R12 to R134A. It has the fittings for R134A, and it seemed to work fine after it was charged. Does anyone know if this particular year came this way or if there was a conversion kit available? Thanks for the help.
