Hi everyone,
I am in the middle of a deep dive restore of a 1967 PA28-180.

The old fiberglass sound proofing insulation on much of the interior was held in place by some type of spray on adhesive. This stuff has proven to be impervious to acetone, MEK, goop-off...even tried brake cleaner!

Does anyone know of something that will cut this stuff? I am about ready to give up as it seems tougher than the aluminum it’s sprayed on so abrasives such as scotch bright will do more harm to the aluminum than the glue...

Thanks,
Steve
