I'm getting quoted like $1,500 EACH to have my mechanical DG and AI overhauled. Somehow I thought this was a $300-$400 job on each.
Is that accurate? I'm thinking its more cost effective to switch to AHRS technology with a G5 system than to sink well over 3k into refurbing these gyro dinos.
Thoughts?
Edit: Those prices look ridiculous actually. I AM seeing $400 rebuilds all over the internet. I can pull these myself, send off, have done and reinstall and have my IA inspect and sign off. Probably less than a grand for both. Is this a pipe dream?
