Recently added a GMA 350c audio panel and Area 660 to the yoke. (Pics and Pirep pending) My comm2 is a KY 197 but the display stopped functioning. When I picked up the plane from the shop, the comm2 was treating a lot of noise and got turned off. At the time, I didn't think much of it, there were too many other things to focus on. I found a used KY 197 and swapped out the radios, the new one was stuck on Transmit mode and therefore unusable. When I switched the old radio back, the old radio also stays on Transmit mode (which created the noise). I have the plane back in the shop to look at it. In the mean time, anyone have any thoughts as to what would cause this to happen?
