I need to replace a couple of display segments on my Collins radios in my Lance. I have a dual nav/com set up. I've removed the lower left (com), but the other ones above and to the right are not coming out of the tray easily. The plastic face plates are easily damaged, so I can't pull on them, and there isn't much on the metal sides to grab onto. Looking for helpful hints.

Also, is there an appropriate lubricant to ease sliding in and out of the trays once I can get them out?
