Hello, I am using the iPad app and can't seem to find the Forum Search feature. So, this has probably already been asked...

I have a 1966 PA28-140 and there is a Cold Weather Oil Cooler Plate in the glovebox. The 1966 POH makes no reference to the use of the oil cooler plate. Can anyone give me some insight for the use of this plate. I am assuming the plate get used when the temperature drops below a certain amount....
