Cirrus accident in San Diego

Apparently deployed the parachute but it was right after takeoff so did not deploy or did not have enough time to deploy properly.

I listened to atc in liveatc.net and I felt so bad for the Controller trying to get a hold of the pilot. Sad for the family.
