I need to get the inboard tanks on my Lance resealed. While I’m at it I’m thinking about replacing the senders. I seem to recall CIES is the way to go. Digital senders list for $1580 for a set of 4 for the PA32, analog are slightly more I believe. Like everything in aviation this is a rabbit hole. I have only the original mechanical gauges for fuel quantity assisted by fuel flow on a JPI800. A digital fuel gauge is probably another $400-800.
Have others here gone down this particular rabbit hole and was it worth it?
