A few days ago I went out to Quonset Pt, field, Rhode Island, to do a few landings in my 1965 Cherokee 235, and the upper door latch would not close.
The outside and inside latch levers will rotate only a few degrees and the hook that they move to engage the wire strike on the hull, will move around strangely only a little.
I would appreciate any thoughts on a fix as it's cold, breezy, and loud, inside the plane when flying.
Thanks, Curt
