Looks like a PA-28 went down in the hills just west of Lake Elsinore (about 13nm west of F70). They have not released the tail number until they notify the families of the three onboard that died. One Facebook comment posted to the news article talks about the pilot doing low-altitude maneuvering, while someone in the article talks about hearing odd engine sounds.
