I bought a 235 in December and the short story is, while I've been flying with my dad for years, I'm finally getting my license. I'm about 40 hours in with about 10 in the Cherokee and I'm having an issue. I pulled the manual for the engine so I could learn the settings on leaning the mixture, however, my instructor and I are in a disagreement over whats the best option. He prefers we run between 50 and 100F rich of peak and I would like to run LOP. So my question is, what do you guys do and what is the best way to set it up in the 235? Thoughts, comments, or suggestions?
