Greetings to all. I have a '62 PA-28-160 that needs the engine baffles and seals replaced. Getting the seal material (of course) isn’t an issue (Aircraft Spruce). However, I’ve looked on several web sites (Airforms, Knots2u, et. Al) and as far as I can tell, kits for the 160 aren’t available; at least from the sites I queried. Assuming I just haven’t missed something, which probably isn’t too big of a stretch, what are my options for getting the baffles replaced: salvage, custom, other?????
Apologies for the general nature of the question, but I just bought the plane and am coming up to speed on the ins and outs of maintenance.
