Happy New Year!

What better than a pilot dilemma to start 2017? This topic has been discussed multiple times, I have read lots of posts but still need some "customized" opinions!

Current status (I think I'm IFR ready!):
- Dual VOR, one with ILS
- ADF
- Dual radio
- Pitot heat
- The useless Apollo II, only needed for water landing as boat anchor

The only differences with my current configuration are that I have moved the compass to the central post, installed an engine monitor G3 Insight (which I love) on its spot, and replaced the mechanic clock with a Davtron timer

Ideas:
- Install a KLN-90B to have GPS IFR non-Waas (about $1.5k with installation)
- Remove the Apollo and maybe the ADF

Issues:
- Limited space in the panel
- Overall location of all instruments
- KLN-90B support/product life

Comments:

1) I'm starting my IFR training
2) I think I'm going to order my PowerFlow system as first upgrade
3) I have been checking around for a 180. I think that upgrading airplane could be an option but then I think about selling my
aircraft, finding the right one, the money needed on whatever I buy, etc. It might cost consistently more but still open to the idea.
4) I had to cancel my order for my NAvworx after the FAA shut their device down
5) Should I consider other options like a GTN300 or else?

Here is the obvious: optimizing my money, spending the least, getting what I need considering also the 2020.

Any feedback is welcome!
