Hello,

I had a hard night landing at KBDU (Boulder, CO) in my Cherokee Six 300 after returning from a long x-country trip from KMTN (Martin State in Maryland).

I misjudged the height above the touchdown zone and flared too high. After touchdown, she stayed on centerline and I had no issues taxiing.

The tires and struts "looked" fine after a visual inspection.

My questions are:

1. Is there an inspection checklist I (or my A&P) should go through after a hard landing like this?

2. If the tires didn't blow, is there any chance of there being damage to the wing spar or gear that I can't see?

I'm pretty sure that the mains took the blow and any nose wheel contact was incidental.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Buck
