As I understand it, you get percentage horsepower on a PA-28 140 by looking at temperature, altitude and RPM and looking at some complicated graphs which isn't so convenient in the air.
Is there a handy shortcut for this, like a phone app or just some rough rule of thumb to follow to get the right throttle settings to match up with POH expected fuel burn etc...?
