Experts...

As the Thread title indicates I am chasing a mystery vibration.

Plane is 1966 PA32-260
~900 SMOH
3 Blade Prop

Vibration occurs primarily at cruise power settings and is substantial. Reducing power below 1500rpm stops all vibration.

Vibration appears to be independent of airspeed.. Low power descents from altitude maintain cruise speeds does not produce a vibration.

Done so far:

- Prop Balanced to .009IPS
- Airframe thoroughly inspected for loose items
- Missing Section of Wing Root Seal Replaced
- Stabilator Bearings and Brackets inspected
and found tight.
- Compression Check indicates all 74/80 or
better.
- Plugs and Plug Wires inspected / tested.
- Wheel Pants snugged up and tight
- Inspected every inch of the engine
compartment for interference or rubbing.
- Inflight Mag Test
- Inflight Carb Heat Check

Still on the list:

- Mag Timing
- Cam / Lifter Spalling
- Carb / Fueling issues

Anything obvious / easy I am missing here? This is driving me crazy and I'm not comfortable loading the family up for a trip until it's resolved.
