I understand, however the AD is 40 years old and the 90 FAA FSDO’s around the country all have their own interpretation ….


If it came down to it I would go to the FSDO and ask them what their poilcy is….


I am not trying to argue to be right all I am saying is the FAA can fix this or maybe they have easily…Especially that the part os no longer available and the AMOC is simple…


FAA is suppose to simplify part 23 aircraft part problems by relaxing AD’s that restrict simple fixes for problems.


I can drive owners to drink ……
