along with other recent accidents / crashes however you wish to term them-- incl the one on Venice Beach…. on a story about why are there so many small engine airplane crashes happening? i guess as a contrast to the related question, why are there so many airline crashes happening? not...
but this one they had audio of and the pilot was freaking out on the radio- after bouncing?? not entirely clear what happened, but she is the wife of the owner, and her passenger was the mother of the owner and she was practicing touch and goes? myself i learned early on not to bring passengers on such missions! but just the way she was reacting as far as what's being reported, well, what do you guys think? the controller has to tell her to go full throttle?
