I am wiring up my stratus 2 as a backup and have mounted it on the overhead center console. It is currently the hub for the ifd540 and foreflight receives the GPS position from the avidyne and the traffic from the stratus. I am wiring power, external adsb antenna and external GPS antenna in case I lose ship power and the IFD.

I have this antenna left over from the GRT mini install. The GRT is connected to the avidyne so i did not use this external GPS antenna. It appears to plug in fine to the stratus 2 and I’m wondering if I can just use this generic high gain GPS antenna???
