My wife has mobility issues and can only ride in the back of my Cherokee Six (she is awaiting 2 hip replacements.) I removed the middle seats so she can stretch out a bit, but she is still very uncomfortable, and wants me to make some modifications to help her get comfortable. I was considering modifying the rear seats in some way, but I'm not sure what's legal (or what's safe).

Does anyone have any experience with this? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
