So I'm trying to decide between a Cessna cardinal and a piper archer. I actually enjoy flying the olarcher more but my wife and I are both 70, in reasonably good shape, but we are not ballet stars. No matter how I try I cannot seem to get into the plane or out of the plane gracefully. I usually exit butt first. Does anybody have any good ideas as to how to get in and out and not look like your're 600 years old? Does anyone carry a little box to stand on or something like that? I actually Am serious about this because it is so easy to get into and out of the Cessna cardinal. Should you happen to have a high definition video demonstrating different techniques, that of course would be most helpful.
