I just this last week had a blown fuse that is connected to the fuel guages and oil temp guage. I replaced it (5 amp) and guages are working. I took off and the fuse quickly blew again. I tried a 10 amp and in flight it blew. I suspect a wire is rubbing on something and shorting out. Where and how would you start checking?
BTW it's a 1968 Cherokee 180.
