the TCDS for the prop has no such wording. it does not say anything about coatings. that information is in the 115 maintenance manual. The TCDS defines the airworthiness of the prop, not the maintenance manual. there is a lot of heated discussion of limits put in other manuals being enforceable or not. with FAA legal opinions both ways. the manual also says the if the paint is eroded it must be repainted but does not define any limit as to what eroded is.
