How far is the nearest Hartzell authorized facility?


Fly the plane directly there.


If anyone has any concerns about the plane's legal airworthiness for this one time flight, request a ferry permit from the FSDO.  One of their airworthiness inspectors might want to have a look at it first.  They'll take one look at the area in question and say "I came out here for THIS?"


And make the insurance company aware of the nature of the one time flight and get something in writing from them that coverage is in force for this one time flight.
