I think we all agree there was no intent on the part of the service facility to do any harm to this prop.  Nor do I have any reason to believe the service facility was even careless with this prop.


If a prop shop does an inspection I think it's fair the cost be split 50/50.


I doubt a legit service facility would argue with that, nor would the aircraft owner, who simply wants to get past this and move forward.


Actually, they BOTH want to move forward, and on good terms.  No reason there should be any hard feelings after this situation is resolved.


We all know that 💩 happens.  But it's how it's dealt with afterwards that's most important.
