Currently my old gal has a pretty good avionics suite though dated by some of the standards of today:
155x2 one with GS
250XL wired as a com3 with battery backup and not through the Garmin 340 audio panel with jacks for Headset and Mic.

Lynx NGT 9000 for ADS-b in and out
Vacuum AI and DG,Electric driven TC
Precise flight backup vacuum system
Panel antenna jack for hand held radio should all else fail on the COM side
Aera 660 and Nexus 7 running AVARE as Back up for NAV
Currently flying VFR 300-400mi max,started IFR training several years ago written done and about 20hrs flying when my friend/instructor passed away.
Not sure I'll get the IFR ticket.....maybe but thinking about Back UP AI anyway...Here's the thought get a G5 installed or just add an RC Allen 2" electric AI. not at all bothered about not having a glass cockpit in the old girl but costs about equal not counting install.The hanger elves probably could install the RC Allen not so sure on the G5 due to antenna hook up etc
