Everyone, I just wanted to put out there that there is a huge problem with Evolution Aerostyling at Midland International Airport. They also go by the name AvSource West.
They are a paint and interior shop and have had my Cherokee 235 for 14 months now and will not return my phone calls and obviously haven't gotten my plane done. There is also a guy with an A36 Bonanza that not only dropped his plane off there, he gave Eric Hockman (the owner of Evolution Aerostyling) 16K up front for a down payment. Now his plane is completely disassembled like my Cherokee and Eric is nowhere to be found. There are also a couple of other people that I found on a site called something like pissedoffconsumer.com. If you google Evolution Aerostyling you will find it about 1/2 the way down the page. Anyway, over about the last year, people have dropped their aircraft off at Evolution Aerostyling and never seen them again. I have an attorney down there working on my case right now and I plan to call AOPA and the FAA. I am told that the company has no assets so any judgement that I might get will never be paid!
