I dropped off my Warrior II yesterday in Brantford, Ontario (Orest's home town), and we're under way! The only change I made from my earlier plans was upgrading my ancient altitude encoder, so I'm now getting this:

- Garmin GTN 650 IFR GPS
- Garmin GTX 345 ADS-B in/out transponder
- MidContinent CDI
- new altitude encoder
- swap in replacement lens for my KX 155 navcom (which is moving down to slot 2)

I'm removing the ancient KX 170B navcom, KT 78 transponder, Narco AR 850 altitude encoder, and KN 64 DME, but keeping the Narco ADF 841. I gave the DME a good workout on my 2:25 flight from Ottawa to Brantford as a farewell to a gadget that gave me good, reliable service for so many years (DME arcs were my favourite approach transition).
