First time owner looking to purchase a '79 Cherokee 6 or early Saratoga. Most of what I see will available I will want/need to upgrade avionics. Looking at installing a 650/750 or possibly a g500, probably not both. Most likely need to upgrade transponder for ADSB at the same time. My question is how likely is it that everything will work when I get the plane back? Reading here seems most installs have squawks? Or is it that people don't have questions to post if everything is working. If there's that many problems I assume the shop needs to be close.

Secondarily do larger or smaller shops typically have less squawks. Shops with more people / experience or equipment fare any better. Or is the small guy with less distractions or other problems? I understand each install stands alone on the skill of the installer just looking for generalizations.
