After annual, my left main strut is about 2” higher than the right main strut, which shows up first as a deviation in the slip indicator ball - about half scale off center. I also noticed that the AHI sets its horizontal reference based on this slight tilt. How long would that be expected to last? I flew for about 1.4 hrs yesterday and the AHI remained a bit off through the flight with the ball centered. I was trying to determine if the plane was flying in a slight slip, but it doesn’t appear so. The AP would hold course tightly, with the ball centered, but the AHI was showing a slight left bank. I have a legacy Century 21 AP that uses the AHI as a reference. Any thoughts? I’m going to have the left strut pressure relaxed a bit this coming week.
