Until yesterday, I assumed I'd get a Saratoga. Then I ran into a guy on the ramp who just bought a Turbo Arrow. He brought up some good points. Has anyone else made a comparison and what are your thoughts?

I hadn't realized that an Arrow could have >1,000 pound useful load. My typical mission (4 hefty adults, fuel, baggage) frequently takes me over 1,000.

This guy said:

* Yes, Saratoga is 6 passenger. But it's not 6 comfortable passengers unless some are kids. The roof is low for the back front-facing seats, and the legroom for 4 in the back is basically 8 knees colliding. Seating looks cool but isn't that practical.

* Speed - Arrow faster

* Much lower fuel consumption for Arrow

Thoughts appreciated!
